Dr. Ron Lester is a Vietnam-era veteran who lost his sight as a result of a hereditary eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa. Despite his blindness, Dr. Lester is an experienced educator and ordained minister who serves in the United States and abroad. He and his wife, Betty, have two adult sons and are the proud grandparents of eight grand children. Dr. Lester makes his home in Tucson, Arizona, where he is active in the local church. He travels nationally to minister and to represent blinded veterans.
Dr. Lester’s work is autobiographical. He is an authority on what he writes and speaks because he has personally experienced the hand of God on his life, developing him into what he is today.
